I offer a range of music related services to best serve you and you're projects.

Music Composition and Songwriting

My songs and productions are available to music supervisors for licensing in film/TV and beats are available to artists and labels wishing to use the track. Custom music can be written and produced at a whim for that perfect cue.

Music Consultation

It can be tough navigating the music business. I offer consultation and advice concerning everything from licensing, social media, building a website, SEO, and maximizing music revenue. 

Mixing and Mastering

Songwriting and proper recording are only half the battle. I provide superb music mixing and mastering services to artists in all genres and ensure the music sound’s its best and is ready for release.

Song Review

If you’re recording at home and need advice on possible shortcoming in your music and production, I’ll review it and give an in-depth honest opinion as well as solutions to get you on the right track. Everything from song form, lyrics, production, recording, and the mix/master are evaluated.

Collaboration

Interested in collaborating or co-writing music together? Get in touch with your ideas and we may be able to work out an agreement. 

Demo to Record

If you’re a songwriter who creates lyrics and music but has trouble actually arranging the song, finding and recording session players and vocalists and getting the song to sound like a record, have no fear, I can arrange this for you and transform your song from a simple demo to a full release ready record.

My Studio

My studio provides the perfect setup for music creation. I listen through a high end monitoring chain (Forssel MDAC, Pelonis 4288, Sennheiser HD800) in an acoustically treated space. My custom PC provides plenty of processing power for my plethora of virtual instruments and processing plug-ins (UAD, Waves, Brainworx, Fab-Filter, Native Instruments and more...) World class microphones from the ADK Custom Shop and in-house instruments allow me to create, produce, and engineer at lightning speed while maintaining commercial quality standards.

Scott Horton is the definition of today’s cutting edge music producer. A mix engineer by day, and an accomplished musician and songwriter himself, who graduated Summa Cum Laude from the prestigious Berklee College of Music.

An American, originally from Dallas, Scott now makes his base in the Czech Republic in the inspiring city of Prague working from his well equipped home studio. He caters to international clientèle that seek him out both for his engineering expertise, as well as his creative input and musical taste. Scott works most often crafting Pop, Pop-Rock, and Urban tracks hits for other artist and TV/Film licensing. He is a 2015 International Songwriting Competition finalist for his work on” “Brave Soul.”

Scott is a member of the BMI, the Audio Engineering society (AES) and the Recording Academy (Grammy).
